GOOD TO THE LAST DROP

Maxwell House has a new ad campaign on TV, so I went down to my local CVS pharmacy store and picked some up. I bought (1) 13oz. can original and with my CVS card I got (1) 13oz. can French Roast coffee free. Then a good friend of mine gave me a 11.5oz. can of Maxwell House vanilla flavored coffee they found cleaning out their office. So over the course of a week I found myself trying out all the different types of coffee. I started off with the vanilla first and it smelled fantastic dry in the can. It had a very strong vanilla smell, and a picture perfect brown ground coffee look and feel to it. When I brewed up a 12 cup pot the whole kitchen smelled like the bulk coffee shops in the mall. I was impressed with the tasting of the coffee as well. This was a very "rich" tasting coffee. The vanilla flavored coffee stood up great to milk. Next I tryed the original, and it had a more familiar ground coffee smell, in the can that you would expect. The brewing of the coffee brought out the wonderful aroma of the coffee. I love the original any way you can serve it... great coffee. The French Roast had a strong ground coffee smell in the can, and a darker brown color grinds. The smell and taste of the coffee was stronger than the original. I liked this coffee also and that's when I got the idea to blend the three into one brew. MY blend that I liked to brew was a dry mix of .50% original, .25% vanilla, .25%French Roast. I have to admit that every way that I tryed Maxwell House's coffee... it was "good to the last drop" indeed.
